We are not looking for a deeply experienced Information Architect, but someone that has a solid background in user-centered design and would like to grow as an Information Architect. Someone that digs deep and tries to understand the problem the client has. Job Description:

Creating and maintaining all IA documentation, including: process flows, use cases, site maps, content matrices, wireframes, prototypes, etc.
Acting as user advocate throughout user experience design process
Gathering business requirements from client and turning them into process flows
Working with and collaborating with engineering leads to determine feasibility and efficiency of proposed solutions
Collaborating closely with a creative team (project manager, tech lead, designer, front-end developer) to produce client deliverables

Required Skills:

Experience in information architecture or user experience design
In-depth understanding of User-Centered design theory and practice, design sensibilities and technical knowledge, and a customer-focused approach
Extensive background designing application interfaces and creating wireframes
Experience with writing for the Web (navigation, instructional copy, labeling, and process flows)
Some familiarity with Visio

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of CSS, (X)HTML, JavaScript, etc.
Hand-coded (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Other Qualifications:

Candidate possesses strong verbal and written communication skills along with critical thinking
Candidate must be highly motivated, organized, and maintain a good work ethic
Candidate must be able to interact effectively with clients and internal team
members

Educational Requirements:

Undergraduate degree in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction Design, or Library or Information Science degree nice, but relevant experience with different degree is acceptable.
